Logistic and indoor robotized transport through autonomous navigation

The overall objective of the project is the development of an entire system of logistics and transport robotized indoor based on a new localization algorithm.

The project is carried out between three companies with this major objectives: Research and Development of an indoor navigation system based in location algorithms SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), Research and Development Control Software Fleet and HRI interface, functional and requirements analysis, Integration and interoperability with information systems in health centers analysis.

The main goal of Robotnik in the project is the development of a navigation system of navigation indoor based in location algorithms SLAM. The proposed system will allow to program the routes of an AGV indoor transport by a process guided programming (teach-in), and allow the robot to navigate without installing beacons in the environment as well as increasing reliability.

This is a project funded by IMPIVA – Programme for Research and Technological Development, Regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Innovation – Strategic Actions of Industrial Diversification.
