Development of R&D and engineering service robotics projects
Bots2Rec is a robotic system used for the automated removal of asbestos contamination. It will consist of multiple mobile robotic units that perform the asbestos-removal-tasks autonomously. Each unit consists of a mobile platform and robotic arm with an abrasive tool. The combination of optical and radar sensor systems will allow the environmental perception and local monitoring of the asbestos-removal-tasks..
The goal of the project is the design and development of the BADGER autonomous underground robotic system that will be able to drill, manoeuvre, localise, map and navigate in the underground space, and which will be equipped with tools for constructing horizontal and vertical networks of stable bores and pipelines.
Cyber-physical systems or CPS (Cyber Phisical Systems) are used in critical applications of security, transport, new intelligent cities, and others. Its integration and interaction between several CPS is currently being developed.
CPSwarm proposes the integration of systems and tools for the support of swarms of cyber-physical systems.
